Yamaha OEM oil filter vs aftermarket

Don't be this guy.  CVMA Banning All Aftermarket Oil Filters  The world of motorcycle racing puts oils, filters and crush washers to the test.  We all benefit from the results.  Use Yamaha Genuine Parts and Accessories for the best performance, fit and safety.  Kyle Wyman's oil filter started leaking during MotoAmerica Race One at COTA, causing a fire.  The CVMA and other race associations are highly recommending that you do not use ANY brand of aftermarket oil filter.
